Tax and social security deadlines calendar

Taxes and contributions, month by month

What is due, and when

The calendar gathers the main tax and social security deadlines in Italy: taxes, returns, payments, INPS and INAIL, and obligations for employers and professionals. View it by month, by week or as a list, filter by tax or body and by type of taxpayer, search for a word, and download each deadline, or all the filtered ones, to your own calendar (.ics format). Only deadlines with an official source, read and linked, are published; dates computed from the rules are marked as such.

The calendar

How to use it

The three views

The month view shows deadlines on the calendar, the week view lays them out day by day, and the list view sorts them by date. On a phone the calendar becomes a list, which is easier to read. Tapping a deadline opens its card.

Filters and search

You can choose the tax or body (for example VAT, INPS, INAIL), the type of taxpayer (for example self-employed, company, employer) and the month. Search finds a word in the title and in the notes. Colours show the group each deadline belongs to and are explained in the legend.

The calendar on your phone

Every card has a button to download an .ics file, which opens in Outlook, Google Calendar, Apple Calendar and similar programs. A similar button downloads all the filtered deadlines in a single file. You can add a reminder a few days before. The time zone is Europe/Rome.

Good to know

Deadlines on a weekend or a public holiday

When the last day falls on a Saturday, a Sunday or a public holiday, the deadline moves to the next working day (art. 7 of Decree-Law 70/2011). Payments due between 1 and 20 August can be made by 20 August without a surcharge (art. 37, paragraph 11-bis, Decree-Law 223/2006). The dates in the tool already reflect these shifts.

Extensions and changes

Extensions and new rules can change the dates after this page is published. Each card shows how reliable the date is (read on an official source, or rule checked and date computed) and a link to the source, with the reading date. Deadlines without an official source read are not published.

Who it applies to

Deadlines are given in general terms. Each taxpayer’s situation (regime, sector, particular events) may lead to different terms. For a specific case it is best to check with whoever keeps your accounts.

Sources and updates

Deadlines are taken from official sources: the Revenue Agency (Agenzia delle Entrate), INPS, INAIL, the Official Gazette and Normattiva, the Ministry of Economy and Finance, and the Customs and Monopolies Agency. Each card shows the rule and the link to the source. Data last updated: 8 November 2026.
